First Tyme Mom

Once again I have been late posting on this site. I really need to try to keep up with all of this. Sometimes I just get so distracted with other things that I have to do.

Well, here’s the latest update on Jeremy. I took him to his pediatrician for a check up a couple weeks ago and he totally insulted us. He told us that every time Jeremy cries, we need to feed him. Does that sound right to you? Wouldn’t that be considered over feeding him? I don’t know, he just made us really mad. But what can you do right?

Jeremy is starting to giggle. It’s real little and he only does it once in a blue moon. But he is starting to do it. So I give it a couple weeks and he will be doing it all the time. I can’t wait. It’s going to be so adorable. He is also lifting his up on his own. Which is wonderful. I have been running around like crazy picking things up. I guess I won’t need those diet pills afterall!

BTW: Jeremy is now three months old!

Tonight Jeremy was being extra cute. So, of course I had to get the camera out and take as many pictures as he would let me. He didn’t mind too much. He was being a real doll. So, here’s a few new pictures of the little man. I looked at some of the older pictures and geeze, he is getting big! You could tell that he is older. He is just so dang cute. I got lucky.

There are more pictures and I will be posting them within the next couple of days. I should take more pictures of him. But I always forget to have the camera right there in arms reach. When he starts his talking and smiling, I just can’t get up and get the camera. I don’t want to miss anything! I guess I can use my new promotional pens and write it down to grab the camera to take pictures! Well, we will see about that!

I forgot to tell everyone about Halloween! Well, we had to celebrate it on two days. The town we live in changed Halloween to the 30th. Go figure that one. No one knows why they did it, but they did. We didn’t like the idea, but we went anyway. And then on Halloween, we went to Hartford City to celebrate the real day. Jeremy went as a skeleton. It was so cute! I wasn’t one of those parents though that took him up to doors trying to get candy. I mean, I can’t stand when I see parents doing that. Hello, you have a newborn. Everyone knows they can’t eat candy! Stop cashing in! Haha. But next year will be fun. Jeremy should be walking by next Halloween. Oh he’s going to have a blast!

Oh, the rash on Jeremy’s face got checked out. The doc said that it was from his cradle cap..he said it moved down to his face and onto his chest. You know, I’ve never heard of that before. But, I guess since it’s his job he knows what he is saying. Hmm.

Well, I need to look at some self defense products for my brother. Who knows why he wants them.

Sorry for the lack of posting. Things have been just so crazy around here. I guess I have been getting a little lazy with my sites. But, I am hoping to get back into the hang of it.

Jeremy had a doctor’s appointment on Friday. The pediatrician kind of irritated me. He told me that Jeremy isn’t at the weight he would like to see him at. Jeremy weighs 10 and a half pounds right now. He was born at 8.5. I read in one of my baby books that a healthy baby gains a pound a month. Jeremy is almost 3 months. So, doesn’t that put him at a pound a month? I got really irritated. He asked me if I was feeding him. What type of question is that?!?! I didn’t appreciate it at all. I thought it was kind of rude. But, it’s okay. We have to go back in two weeks to see where Jeremy’s weight is at. Ohh man, lets hope he weighs 20 pounds by then. Hah. The pediatrician told me that everytime Jeremy cries, I have to feed him. SAY WHAT?! Geeze. What a doc.

Anyway, I’m going to back to looking at commercial collection agencies. It’s kind of interesting.

For the past couple days, Jeremy has had a small rash on his cheeks. I’ve been keeping an eye on it and now it has spread to his chest. So, tomorrow morning we have an appointment to get is checked out. I hope it’s nothing serious. I looked it up and it could be excema. I will find out tomorrow morning. He has been so fussy for the past few days. Poor guy.

Besides the whole rash thing, things have been going fine. Nick and I were talking about putting a list in Jeremy’s baby book listing all the problems he has had since he was born. Haha. It seems like every week there is something new with him.

The weather is getting so cold now. Last night it dropped down to 32 degrees. Right now it’s not too bad. It’s about 53 degrees out. This winter is going to be a cold one. That is for sure. I can’t wait for the snow! We might look into carports for when it starts snowing. We will see.
